Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) are a charity who fight to prevent young, sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research and supporting affected families. Formed in 1995, CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by young, sudden cardiac deaths. It funds medical research and promotes and help develop heart-screening programmes. It also publishes crucial medical information written by leading cardiologists and works with leading UK hospitals.
